Security:

The AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) outer shell, combined with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements of different absorption capacities, provides optimum impact protection.

The CWR-F2 visor, newly developed for the SHOEI NXR2, with its two-dimensional design, allows distortion-free and very natural vision.

Reinforcements on the top and bottom edges of the visor increase torsional rigidity and a locking mechanism, now centrally located, prevents the visor from being opened unintentionally. The visor can be quickly changed and adjusted without tools thanks to the further developed mechanism of the previous model.

The enlarged PINLOCK®EVO fog-resistant lens included in the helmet allows a clear view of a large part of the usable field of vision, even in difficult weather conditions, thanks to the fixing pins set far back.

The fastening strap with double D closure is easily adjustable and holds the helmet securely. In case of emergency, the face pads can be easily removed thanks to the gentle removal of the helmet thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System).

Wear comfort – 4 different outer shell sizes (XXS-S | M | L | XL-XXL) make the NXR2 a compact, lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes. Its low weight relieves neck muscles to reduce the effect of fatigue, whether in sporty use on the racetrack or on longer journeys. The three-dimensionally shaped centre pad, pre-moulded face pads and chin pad are fully removable and washable. Slightly rough but soft, quick-drying cover materials reduce friction of the pads on the skin and provide a comfortable feel. Newly designed cheek pads make it easier to put on and take off the helmet. They reduce noise exposure due to the more substantial underside of the rider. The head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual helmet adjustment. Removable pads in the ear area contribute effectively to noise reduction. The recesses in the ear area allow the connection of an intercom.

Ventilation: the 6 air inlets and 4 air outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are connected via a branched ventilation system inside the helmet shell and significantly reduce the temperature and humidity inside the helmet. They always provide the rider with an adequate supply of fresh air without increasing the noise level. The result is a comfortable temperature inside the helmet for concentrated, fatigue-free riding, both during sporty track riding and on motorcycle trips to warm places. The vents are easy to adjust, even when wearing gloves.

Aerodynamics:

A built-in spoiler at the back of the head stabilises the helmet at higher speeds. The compact and aerodynamically optimised design of the SHOEI NXR2 further reduces wind resistance and lifting tendency compared to the already low values of the previous model. This effectively relieves the rider’s neck muscles and reduces the effect of fatigue even on longer rides.
