HELITE E-GP AIR 2.0 AIRBAG

Helite e-GP-Air offers all-new technology for maximum protection on the racetrack. A true revolution in protection and detection! The electronic airbags use multi-sensor detection, allowing a complete analysis of the situation and full 360° protection. The algorithm uses a number of sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS) to analyse the motorcyclist’s movements and allow real-time monitoring of the rider. A fast detection time of 60 ms fully inflates the airbag, pre-centring it against the ground when deployed.

The optional full protection solution includes a second sensor (SDU) attached to the fork of the motorcycle. In road traffic, this option allows the detection time to be reduced from 60 ms (with sensors in the west only) to 31 ms, even when the vehicle is stationary, at low speed and regardless of the angle of impact. However, the fork sensor must not be used on a racetrack.
