The GP Tech v5 1PC leather suit is designed and optimised for superior aerodynamic performance, with extremely low air resistance and increased stability, both in the racing position and when leaning fully in corners. With a strong focus on ergonomics and freedom of movement, this suit allows riders to relax and fully exploit the potential of modern sports and racing engines. Featuring a number of features directly derived from MotoGP, the GP Tech v5 suit incorporates an all-new racing-pattern construction for an enhanced, flexible fit, while providing advanced abrasion resistance and impact protection.

Features:

• Made from a blend of kangaroo leather and racing cowhide for superior abrasion resistance, with a double layer of leather in all the areas most exposed to wear and tear, including the elbows, forearms, seat, hips and back.
• The bonded Kevlar® mesh provides greater resistance to cuts, tears and abrasion, while significantly reducing heat transfer to the rider’s body caused by friction when sliding on asphalt.
• Increased stretch Kevlar® panel in the crotch for greater rider mobility, with optimised seam design for high levels of comfort.
• The all-new upper shoulder and neck section has a smooth seam line from the neck to the upper shoulder for maximum rider mobility and reduced pressure on the neck when the rider is in the racing position.
• All-new accordion belt for improved ergonomics and aerodynamics. This panel is positioned lower for better functionality but without extra material, and features an innovative 3D pre-stretched design with 3D curves on the sides to improve aerodynamic performance while reducing the amount of material.
• The speed hump is designed specifically for use with the Alpinestars S-R10 helmet for maximum aerodynamic performance when worn together.
• Strategically placed silicone grip patch on the inside of the legs for better grip and contact with the motorcycle tank.
• Fitted with Alpinestars GP Tech Knee Slider. Optimised for track use and with an anatomical design for optimal contact, even wear distribution and lighter weight, its slim profile with buckle and strategically placed v-cuts allows for a more precise fit on the knee while preventing material wrinkling, further improving aerodynamic performance.

Construction:

• Includes a racing cut for a more precise fit.
• Racing leather construction for superior abrasion resistance, further enhanced by an all-new leather patch design strategically placed on the inside of the elbow.
• Extensive perforations for optimal airflow and breathability.
• The aerodynamic bonded lining on the upper sleeves and back flattens the surface of the material, reducing air resistance while providing greater abrasion resistance and structural strength.
• The triple stitching on the outside of the socks includes a straight double-stitched seam along the entire length of the suit for increased abrasion and tear resistance.
• The full-length lining includes integrated padding for extra impact resistance.
• Large inserts in stretch Lycra at strategic points allow freedom of movement.
• Pre-shaped sleeves with a flexible, tapered wrist cut for superior freedom of movement and a slanted zip for minimal pressure on the wrist.
• The lightweight and breathable stretch fabric on the lower legs allows riders to wear the suit over or under the Alpinestars Supertech R inner boot.
• Mesh lining for increased breathability and comfort.

• Nucleon PLASMA Level 2 protection for shoulders, elbows and knees, with GP DFS (Dynamic Friction Shield) RR kit on elbows, shoulders and elbows, for protection against bumps and abrasions at race level.
• TECH-AIR® READY: The GP Tech v5 is compatible with Tech-Air® 7x and has a fully floating installation, complete with front zippers. It is also optimised for use with Tech-Air® 5 and Tech-Air® 10 airbags for maximum rider protection.
