The focus was on the fit and comfort of the equipment on the bike, so the neckline and crease areas were revised and lighter, even more durable materials were used for the trousers.

All of which helps to make SPRINT Gear even more race-worthy. The 90% Polyester / 10% Spandex® fabric is lightweight and durable. A redesigned knee area offers a slimmer profile without compromising protection, while providing improved flexibility for better movement and stride characteristics. Durable stretch material in the thigh and seat area offers extra abrasion resistance in the event of a fall. Optimised mesh inserts along the calves improve freedom of movement and increase ventilation. Increased abrasion resistance on the chain thanks to the acoustic welded, heat-resistant spigot attached to the right ankle area. New side waist adjusters with Velcro fastening in the waistband allow quick and imperceptible fit adjustment. The zipped construction prevents dirt and stones. Flat TLD buckle with Velcro closure ensures tight closure without extra bulk. 2 strategically placed zipped pockets: 1x on the upper left leg, 1x on the lower right thigh area. Tapered shape of the lower leg keeps the trousers away from the chains/seat. The race-ready fit has been developed to allow room for a base layer and knee pads, while ensuring maximum freedom of movement and a secure leg. The fabric is Bluesign® certified.
