SHOEI HORNET ADV6 INVIGORATE TC-10

The HORNET ADV 06 is the ideal companion for motorcycling adventures and journeys, both on and off road. Its helmet shield offers stable and durable protection against glare. Thanks to its aerodynamically optimised shape, this visor generates minimal lift even at higher speeds. The helmet is perfectly balanced and relieves the rider’s neck muscles even on longer rides or in more challenging terrain.

Security:

• A 6-layer composition of glass fibres, organic fibres and high-performance fibre materials forms the basis of the AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) outer shell of the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06. Together with a polystyrene inner liner made up of several elements with different absorption capacities, this outer shell offers optimum impact protection at a relatively low overall helmet weight.
• The standard clear visor with a large field of view offers protection against weather, dust. And it can be replaced without tools thanks to the quick-change mechanism. Like all SHOEI integral helmet visors, it reduces the penetration of more than 99% of UV radiation into the interior of the helmet. The PINLOCK®EVO anti-fog lens supplied with the helmet ensures clear vision even in adverse weather conditions.
• The chin strap with double D-lock is easily adjustable and holds the helmet securely in place.
• The EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) facilitates the removal of the cheek pads in an emergency, allowing the helmet to be gently removed.

The SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard for motorcycle helmets.

Wearing comfort

• The 4 different outer shell sizes (XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL) make the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 a compact companion for motorcycling adventures and allow for an optimal balance between helmet size and rider size. Good balance, relatively low weight and a barely noticeable lifting of the helmet shield relieve the neck muscles, both on endless highways and dusty trails.
• The centre pad, designed for effective ventilation, as well as the three-dimensional pre-formed cheek pad and chin cover are fully removable and washable. The cheek pads and centre pads are available in different thicknesses for individual helmet customisation.
• Removable ear pads effectively contribute to noise reduction.
• The recesses in the ear area allow the installation of an intercom system.

Ventilation

The 4 adjustable air inlets and 4 air outlets on the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 effectively contribute to air exchange and thus noticeably reduce the temperature and humidity inside the helmet. The result is a comfortable indoor atmosphere, both on the highway and on the track.

Aerodynamics

The integrated spoiler improves the aerodynamic performance of the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06. The perforated helmet shield integrated in the aerodynamic concept offers excellent protection against glare, dirt and flying pebbles, while reducing air resistance.

Accessories

SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 is available with visors in different shades and mirror finishes, which can be used in accordance with ECE type-approval regulations. The helmet is originally fitted with a clear visor type CNS-2, available in different shades. All visors of this type can be fitted with PINLOCK®EVO anti-fog lenses, one of which is supplied with the helmet.

SHOEI’s range of spare parts includes cheek pads and centre pads in different thicknesses and sizes to replace the original pads or to customise the helmet. Also available are a chin strap cover, a breath guard and a chin guard.

Included in delivery

The SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 is equipped with a PINLOCK®EVO lens for use with the CNS-2 type visor with which the helmet is originally equipped, and with mounting pins for replacement. In addition, a breathing protector, a chin protector, a sticker with the SHOEI logo, the original SHOEI bag for safe storage of the helmet and silicone oil for maintenance of the visor and mechanism are included in the original delivery.
