The latest evolution of the best-selling Dainese Racing jacket, designed for all motorcyclists travelling in good weather and summer, is the Racing 5 leather jacket, a casual and sporty motorcycle jacket made from fine 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide.
The focus on ergonomics led to studies on riding positions to refine details designed to reduce pressure on the neck, such as the Veloce Racing neck collar, and to ensure maximum comfort and mobility by incorporating the S1 wide two-elastic fabric and adjustment systems on the hips.
Riding comfort combines with superior protection. The EN 17092 Class AA-certified Racing 5 jacket features CE Level 2 certified composite elbow and shoulder pads, replaceable aluminium shoulder pads to provide a more natural glide in the event of a fall, and a pocket designed to accommodate Type G back and chest pads.
As a result of studies on the correct fit, the jacket can be worn comfortably over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without the need to purchase a larger size. The correct fit of the sleeves prevents the pads from moving to the wrong place during a fall, so maximum protection for the rider is always guaranteed. In addition, the loops that attach the Smart Air to the jacket allow riders to put them on and take them off in a single movement, so that the airbag under the jacket always maintains the correct position.
The level of functionality of this all-weather garment is enhanced by the practical internal waterproof pocket, where riders can store their electronic devices in the event of bad weather, as well as the vents on the chest and the air vent zippers on the sides in the event of high-temperature sessions.
