The innovative and ultra-light Tech-Air® 5 Plasma Airbag System is designed to fit easily under the jacket and provides a comfortable, flexible fit. It meets the increasing safety demands of the motorcycling sector without restricting freedom of movement. Thanks to its slim profile, it is almost invisible under the jacket, while providing advanced protection for an optimal riding experience. The latest development in the Alpinestars Tech-Air® family, the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma system is based on industry-leading protection technology. Designed for maximum lightness, superior comfort and a subtle fit, it offers comprehensive upper body protection – including chest, ribs, back and shoulders. The system also features a plasma back protector that combines optimum comfort, flexibility, air circulation and protection. A newly developed algorithm supports three different riding modes – road, off-road and racing – and ensures that the system adapts precisely to different riding situations. Tech-Air® 5 Plasma has a single airbag refill and a gas cartridge that can be replaced by the user to ensure continuous protection on every ride.
