PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Alpinestars S-R7 motorcycle helmet is designed for top-tier performance both on the racetrack and on the road. Its lightweight construction, made from advanced composite materials with carbon fiber, combines state-of-the-art technologies with Alpinestars’ patented safety solutions.

The advanced aerodynamic design, optimized ventilation, and precisely engineered EPS inner protective lining ensure a high level of protection, stability, and comfort, even during longer rides.

KEY FEATURES

Multilayer composite outer shell

The outer shell is made of advanced composite materials with pre-impregnated epoxy resin (prepreg), which ensures exceptional strength, low weight, and a high level of protection.

The combination of carbon, aramid, and glass fibers enables effective energy dissipation upon impact and provides high resistance to radial loads and punctures.

The helmet meets the ECE 22.06 and DOT certification standards.

PLASMA protection in the collarbone area

The aerodynamically designed shell features special recesses on both sides of the lower part of the helmet, in which the PLASMA protective inserts are installed.

The pads are designed to effectively absorb impact and reduce the risk of collarbone injuries when sliding after a fall.

Exceptionally wide field of view

The S-R7 helmet provides excellent visibility and a better awareness of what’s happening around you.

Multi-density EPS protective coating

The inner protective shell features an advanced EPS liner consisting of seven elements with six different densities.

The individual components are strategically positioned to effectively absorb impact energy.

Each helmet size features a specially tailored EPS liner combined with three different outer shell sizes. This design ensures an optimal fit and protection.

Patented technology for reducing rotational forces

The inner EPS liner features a patented Alpinestars low-friction coating designed to reduce the rotational forces generated during oblique impacts.

A special slippery surface mimics the protective action of cerebrospinal fluid, which naturally reduces friction and stress on the brain.

This technology helps reduce the rotational acceleration of the brain inside the skull, thereby reducing the risk of concussion and other head injuries.

The S-R7 helmet exceeds the requirements of the ECE 22.06 standard by 80% at maximum rotational acceleration.

PROTECTION AND SAFETY

A viewfinder of the highest optical class

The visor is certified to the ECE 22.06 standard and falls into optical class 1, which ensures exceptional optical clarity and minimal image distortion.

Quick-Change Visor System

An advanced mechanism allows for quick and safe removal or replacement of the visor without the use of tools.

Patented A-Head Adjustment System

Alpinestars’ unique A-Head system allows for precise adjustment of the helmet’s height and tilt on the head.

A micro-adjustable pad, integrated with the inner EPS liner, ensures optimal positioning of the protective structure and an improved fit.

Emergency Removal System – ERS

The cheek pads feature the Emergency Release System (ERS), which allows for safer removal of the helmet in an emergency.

Includes Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™

The helmet comes standard with a clear visor and an additional Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ lens, which prevents fogging and ensures clear visibility in various weather conditions.

STRUCTURE AND AERODYNAMICS

The S-R7 helmet is designed for minimal air resistance and exceptional stability at high speeds, which reduces strain on the neck muscles while riding.

The aerodynamically optimized outer shell features an integrated rear spoiler that reduces turbulence and aerodynamic drag.

Additional side aerodynamic wings improve the helmet’s stability and further reduce air resistance.

This design provides greater comfort, stability, and control during spirited driving and at high speeds.

VIEW

The Alpinestars S-R7 helmet features an advanced ventilation system with 10 vents that ensure efficient airflow and optimal cooling.

6 fresh air intake vents:

• 3 openings in the chin area
• 3 vents on the top of the helmet

4 air vents:

• 2 side openings in the chin area
• 2 vents on the back of the helmet

The upper ventilation system uses the Upper Air Intake sliding mechanism, which allows three air ducts to be opened
