The SP-X BOA boots are stylish sports boots that fit under technical motorcycle trousers and have excellent walking properties.
Optimised for sportive and sportive-touring riders, the SP-X BOA is a compact mid-height boot with superior protection and comfort on and off the bike. The upper is made from a combination of advanced microfibres, ultra-soft Rideknit® and knitted mesh, and seamless, thermo-welded parts. On the underside there is a TPU heel, toe slider and Alpinestars TPF Transversal Protection Frame on the outsole, which provides a high level of protection against impact and any bending or twisting. In addition, the outsole has a completely new design with an asymmetrical rear heel that facilitates the rider’s natural stride and promotes stability off the bike.
For protection, the SP-X BOA boots have built-in shin protection, dual density ankle discs and TPU displacement pads, as well as toe slider reinforcement. For comfort, knitted areas at the forefoot and rear flex points provide great freedom of movement, while the PU midsole with integrated dual heel cushion and removable OrthoLite® insole ensure great walking comfort. Putting on and taking off the shoes is made easier by a central zipper combined with the BOA quick lacing system for a compact and precise closure. The SP-X BOA boots are perfect for sporty riders who want coverage and protection, but don’t want the full racing boot and over-the-pants look.
