The Atem V5 leather jacket is a racing jacket designed and optimised for sportbike and naked sportbike riders with extensive race-related features, technologies and materials, including a special “racing” cut with pre-shaped sleeves for maximum riding performance, Alpinestars’ Flex Plus “racing” leather, race-proven shoulder and elbow protection, while optimising rider comfort.

Alpinestars’ composite stretch technology, A-CS® Plus, stretch panels on the torso for exceptional breathability, comfort and freedom of movement, as well as a lighter weight and lower profile than traditional leather accordion panels (A-CS®). Plus panels are approximately 9% lighter than leather panels. Another important advantage of using A-CS® Plus is its excellent stretchability; A-CS® Plus stretches by about 30% and has 300% more tear resistance compared to HRSF (hyper-resilient stretch fibre) and 600% more cut resistance compared to leather
Flex Plus “Race” cowhide construction is 10% lighter than conventional cowhide, while offering 80% more flexibility for superior freedom of movement, an extremely flexible racing fit and improved abrasion and tear resistance
