The AMT-10R modular jacket is designed to offer superior protection and unparalleled ease of use all year round, and adapts to extreme weather conditions. The “R” version of the AMT-10 offers extra off-road performance with reinforcements and extra storage space – perfect for passionate adventurers who want to go exploring. The innovative AMT-10R jacket is a new approach to advanced all-weather motorcycling clothing and features a modular construction. Using the latest material technologies such as SuperFabric®, Drystar®XF, MATRYX®, Rideknit® and leather-bound Aramid Flynet, the jacket offers first-class safety performance, climate management, versatility and comfort, as well as SuperFabric® external reinforcements for increased durability and optimised ergonomics. Featuring Alpinestars’ new laminated, waterproof and highly breathable 2.5-layer DrystarXF® membrane, the AMT-10R Drystar®XF multi-season jacket is designed for efficient all-weather performance and superior comfort in all weather conditions, wet or dry. The jacket can be 100% waterproof with adjustable direct ventilation or easily converted into a fully ventilated jacket, while maintaining the highest possible level of protection.

The AMT-10R jacket is Tech-Air® ready and has a tailored fit that provides maximum protection for the entire upper body.
Drystar®XF (Extra Flow) modular laminated membrane provides excellent breathability and comprehensive moisture management. The jacket’s membrane is equipped with water-repellent technology to ensure complete waterproofing. The jacket is easy to pack and dries quickly. The most important features of the Drystar®XF membrane are 100% waterproofness, high breathability in dry and wet conditions, low weight and high wearing comfort.
In warmer weather, you can quickly convert the jacket into a summer or Airflow jacket by completely removing the Drystar®XF laminated rain panel, which can be conveniently stored in the large stretch mesh pocket on the back when not in use. The fully converted Airflow jacket still provides full protection thanks to the lightweight MATRYX® inserts, which feature outstanding abrasion, tear and breathability resistance.
The SuperFabric® application on the outer shell, which resembles a layer of small hard armour plates, provides a significant increase in overall performance in terms of abrasion, cut and tear resistance and durability, while the base fabric remains extremely flexible and breathable. An additional benefit of SuperFabric® fabric is a reduced risk of falls for the rider, as SuperFabric® fabric has a low friction surface.
The AMT-10R is made from a new, robust leather bonded to Aramid Flynet leather inserts, which provide increased tear resistance by +80% and improved cut resistance by +25%.

The use of Rideknit® material in the AMT-10R jacket provides key performance characteristics specifically tailored to the demands of motorcycling. These include first-class comfort, breathability, flexibility, tear and abrasion resistance and durability. A key advantage of using Rideknit® is the ability to tailor strategic areas of Rideknit® in the jacket to the rider’s needs, providing flexibility, stretch and a high level of abrasion and tear resistance where required.

In the fully waterproof version, the AMT-10R jacket has direct chest ventilation, which the rider can easily adjust for additional ventilation with the versatile chest vents.
Zippers in the middle of the body provide moderate ventilation and can be opened for additional air circulation.
