The Racing Absolute v2 is the ultimate professional racing suit, featuring the same lightweight and advanced materials and technologies worn by the fastest MotoGP and WorldSBK riders on the track. In addition to a full kangaroo leather construction with double layers of kangaroo leather in the areas most exposed to wear and tear, such as the elbows, forearms, seat, hips and back, the Racing Absolute v2 also features Kevlar® reinforced stretch inserts in the crotch, inner arms and underarms. The Kevlar® embroidered mesh provides greater resistance to cutting, tearing and abrasion and greatly reduces heat transfer to the rider’s body due to friction when sliding on asphalt. Another significant advancement in the Racing Absolute v2’s material technology is the use of Alpinestars’ A-CS®Tech composite stretch technology. A-CS®Tech is integrated throughout the suit on the sides of the torso, on the shoulder blades and in the upper knee area, replacing the original pleated leather inserts. The A-CS®Tech material provides greater breathability, comfort and freedom of movement and is lighter and smaller than pleated leather (A-CS®Tech inserts are approximately 9% lighter than leather inserts). In addition, the suit has pleated leather inserts in the lower back and in the main flexible areas of the suit. A-CS®Tech is characterised by good stretch, with a stretch of approximately 30% and has 248% higher tear resistance compared to standard racing stretch fibres and 570% higher tear resistance than leather. The technologically advanced Racing Absolute v2 performs very similarly to kangaroo leather, with even better wear test results. The use of A-CS®Tech technology represents a remarkable advance and improvement in the protective performance of the materials. The Racing Absolute v2 also features Matryx® material on the lower leg for additional weight reduction and breathability. Kevlar® reinforced stretch inserts on the inside of the arms, crotch, back of legs, collar and chest provide high elasticity for greater freedom of movement and a higher level of protection. The construction of the Racing Absolute v2 includes schoeller®-keprotec seam reinforcements at the elbows and knees, GP-DFS outer sliders at the shoulders, knees and elbows, the all-new GP-R PRO CE Level 2 racing pads for the shoulders, elbows, forearms and knees, and Bioflex Level 1 hip pads in the racing version. The suit sets new standards for Alpinestars Professional racing apparel with its extensive technology and protection. The Racing Absolute v2 is Alpinestars’ top product in MotoGP apparel.
