Leather Suit ranks at the very top of non-D-Air® racing suits – also in terms of safety. Its mechanical resistance actually reaches Class AAA, while the aluminium inserts on the shoulders and knees and the steel inserts on the elbows with adjustable positioning optimise the suit’s level of protection by completely reducing friction in the event of a fall. The Audax D-Zip 1PC Perf leather suit is made from high-quality D-Skin cowhide with local perforations and features a patented fully stretchable back construction – a structure that reduces the number of seams while increasing the suit’s resistance in the event of a fall. This is thanks to the stretchable microfibres with Microelastic 2.0 inserts, which make the suit fit even tighter and thus better maintain volume in the upright position. The comfortable riding position and freedom of movement are further enhanced by the iconic double-zip Stretch fabric construction on the belly – a historic Dainese patent that allows the body to fit snugly against the tank in the folded position without discomfort due to the rigid and non-stretchable central zipper element.
The integrated Boots-IN system also ensures maximum comfort during the ride. The removable D-Tec Racing Core interior further enhances comfort and aerodynamics, as this removable and washable inner layer houses composite shoulder pads, which are now even more sensitive to the body’s micro-movements, and Pro-Shape 2.0 hip pads. The breathable mesh lining ensures maximum thermal comfort, while the waterproof inner pocket protects documents and mobile phones from the rain and completes the range of features that characterise this revolutionary motorcycle suit.
