Advanced microfibre upper construction for lightweight level flexibility. New front flex zones and rear flex zones are made of textile, covered with soft TPU for improved movement and rearward flex that promotes natural forward motion. Alpinestars provides biomechanical support and protection between the lateral and upper part of the shoe, shin and ankle, for excellent ankle articulation, while limiting hypertorsion, hyper-extension and hyperflexion, and providing protection to the Achilles tendon and ankle at impact.
The Alpinestars Lace-Lock System is made from an advanced polymer resin to ensure fast, accurate and secure closure.
It is equipped with a new TPU gear area for superior protection on the lower medial side.
The new, strategically placed, competition-designed TPU shin guard provides superior impact and abrasion resistance.
Dual-density TPU ankle protection is strategically placed between the upper and the cushioned footbed, providing strategic protection in key areas.
The replaceable TPU toe slider with dual density and screw fitting provides comprehensive protection around the outer part of the toes, while still being extremely flexible for walking comfort.
The interchangeable heel slide and the external side heel slide are strategically placed for optimal dispersion and shock absorption, while promoting sliding in the event of an accident.
The SMX-6 v3 shoe is CE certified in accordance with EN 13634:2017.
