Alpinestars Bionic Tech V3 protective jacket
The Bionic Tech V3 Protection Jacket features ultra-lightweight, removable, floating chest and back protectors made from Polyhedron Hybrid Technology Level 2 and UKCA, and Nucleon Flex Pro Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors, embedded in a highly breathable, race-proven stretch mesh base layer that provides riders with an unparalleled level of ventilation and superior upper body protection.
Both the chest and back protectors with two zones have a rigid central zone with a flexible, soft perimeter compound and are lined with soft bio-foam padding. In the case of the chest protector, the flexible and soft side wings combined with the bio-foam padding act as a flexible system that adapts to the chest. The central part of the chest and back protector, directly behind the high perforated impact grille, is fully open, allowing maximum ventilation.
The chest and back protectors are securely positioned with adjustable shoulder straps. The detachable chest protector is easy to put on and take off, has a magnetic quick release buckle on the left shoulder, and is attached underneath via adjustable V-straps that pass through the ventilated rib protectors. The V-shape distributes the tension force over a larger area of the back protector, ensuring a more secure and comfortable fit. The rib protectors provide additional protection in critical areas.
