The Alpinestars AMT-8 Stretch Drystar XF Jacket is a new addition to the AMT (Alpinestars Motion Touring) line and is designed to provide the highest level of comfort during long distance riding. Like the other AMT jackets in the range, the AMT-8 ACTIVE fit jacket is ergonomically designed to provide maximum range of movement and freedom of movement, ensuring superior comfort and protection while providing high levels of ventilation and breathability. With strategically placed hyperflow vents and a waterproof Drystar®XF stretch lining, the AMT-8 jacket is designed to provide riders with cooling ventilation in the areas they need it most and keep them dry in severe weather conditions.

Long zipped vents on the chest and arms provide a high level of cooling airflow when open, acting as scoops to capture air from the incoming airflow.
The AMT-8’s hyperflow ventilation system provides a larger surface area for air exchange and the side chest vents are open thanks to an internal rope retention system.
The rear air outlet is designed as a cup, always open, and discharges the incoming air from the front vents, allowing a constant cross-airflow, with the airflow at the front and rear being directed inwards.
The Drystar®XF waterproof stretch lining is very versatile and can be used as an inner wind layer when worn under a jacket, or as a WP layer for rain protection when worn over a jacket. When not in use, the liner can be easily stowed in its built-in pouch and conveniently stored in the rear utility pocket of the AMT-8.
