The Smart Leather Gaiter is Dainese’s premium leather gaiter, featuring the Dainese D-air® airbag system, which provides the highest level of protection in a motorcycle garment for street use. The armband combines the style and versatility of a Dainese jacket in soft and robust cowhide leather with the intelligence and superior protection of the Dainese D-air® airbag system: it independently detects dangerous situations for the motorcyclist and activates to protect the back and chest with Shield, an airbag with patented microfibre technology. An exclusive technological solution that allows even inflation and protection over the entire coverage area, without the need for rigid shields. Thermal comfort and breathability on hot days are provided by perforated leather inserts at some strategic points of the jacket. An internal adjustable waist belt allows for fine adjustment of the fit of the sleeveless jacket at the waist. Micro-elastic leather inserts on the shoulders allow greater freedom of movement during the ride and also after dismounting. The Velcro strap on the chest allows personalisation of the Smart Vest: so you can attach your motorcycle club patches.
