The Alpinestars GP Tech V4 one-piece is a new model of coverall for professional use.

A suit designed to carry the Tech-Air 10 airbag system, providing protection and freedom of movement at the same time. Made of new materials such as MATRYX, breathable and with excellent abrasion resistance. The suit has been treated with Cool-iR Tech technology to prevent heat build-up and Kevlar mesh reinforcement prevents heat transfer. Using advanced materials, MATRYX panels are present on the parts of the body that are most exposed to wear and tear. They also offer better ventilation and mechanical resistance to tearing and abrasion; while remaining very thin and light. The lower leg is also made of MATRYX, also coated with high-performance polyurethane; as used in MotoGP. This technology is used to ensure less stress on the legs and better ventilation, as well as excellent range of motion.

Alpinestars Tech-Air® 7x Air Jacket – AIRBAG
Tech-Air® 7x is designed for competitive and recreational riding and provides full upper body protection, covering the shoulders, chest and entire back. Tech-Air® 7x can be used as a stand-alone system or as an integrated system in a compatible suit or jacket. The system is designed for use on indoor race tracks, on the road and on light off-road terrain. The state-of-the-art Tech-Air® 7x wearable airbag system has an active electronic system with twelve integrated sensors: three axial accelerometers (one on the back protector and two on the shoulders) and a triaxial gyroscope (in the back protector). These sensors monitor the rider’s body in the event of impacts or unexpected movements. Through years of research with over 50% of the world’s leading MotoGP riders and Alpinestars customers riding Tech-Air® systems, our team has analysed ride data from millions of kilometres and thousands of collisions to continuously improve the intelligent crash detection algorithm. When the algorithm detects a crash in which the driver’s body is exposed to a large and/or sudden amount of energy, it triggers the deployment of the protective airbag, which provides unsurpassed protection to the driver or passenger wearing the system (with a maximum inflation time of 44 ms, depending on the size of the airbag). The Tech-Air® 7x system has two different driving modes: RACE mode for driving on closed circuits and STREET mode for driving on the road and on light off-road terrain. Users can easily switch between STREET and RACE modes using the Tech-Air® app. When driving on public roads and NOT on a closed race track, the system should always be used in STREET mode. Drivers should remember to switch from RACE to STREET mode when leaving the track to ensure they are fully protected, even when stopping at traffic lights, junctions or for other reasons. The airbag protection when stopping is only provided by the STREET mode algorithm.
