SHOEI With the NEOTEC 3, SHOEI continues its series of successful models of toggle helmets with “TEC” in the name.<\/span><\/span> Whether you’re in daily city traffic, on evening trips into windy places or on long motorcycle tours – the NEOTEC 3 impresses with its outstanding all-round performance.<\/span><\/span> Its large integrated QSV-2 sunshade offers excellent glare protection, even when the sun is low.<\/span><\/span> Certified according to the current ECE-R 22.06 test standard, NEOTEC3 is also suitable for use with an open chin thanks to the P\/J approval at an adjusted speed.<\/span><\/span> When the helmet is fully closed, an integrated, deep-branching ventilation system ensures fresh air and cooling.<\/span><\/span> The revolutionary SHOEI COMLINK interface allows full integration of the SENA SRL3 MESH communication system.<\/span><\/span> Smooth exterior surfaces and passageways keep driver noise exposure low.<\/span><\/span> The micro-ratchet closure on the comfortably narrow chin strap makes it easy to put on and take off this incomparably high-quality helmet model with a SHOEI toggle.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

SAFETY<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The SHOEI NEOTEC3 outer shell made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) combined with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements with different absorption capacities offers optimum impact protection that meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard.<\/span><\/span> SHOEI NEOTEC3 meets the requirements of this test standard for full-face and open-face helmets equally.<\/span><\/span> A second, stable grid position allows the helmet to be used with the chin open and locked, in addition to the recommended use with the chin closed.<\/span><\/span> The CNS-3C clear visor, fitted as standard, opens up an almost unlimited horizontal and vertical field of view.<\/span><\/span> The PINLOCK\u00aeEVO anti-dew lens included with the helmet ensures clear visibility even in adverse weather conditions.<\/span><\/span> The comfortably narrow chin strap with micro-ratchet closure is comfortable to wear and holds the helmet securely in place.<\/span><\/span> The stainless steel locking mechanism locks the chin safely and securely in the closed position.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The 3 different sizes of the outer shell (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) allow a wide range of sizes for the SHOEI NEOTEC3 and at the same time an optimal ratio between helmet and rider size.<\/span><\/span> A well-balanced helmet protects the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, both when riding in the city centre and on longer tours or long motorbike trips.<\/span><\/span> The three-dimensionally shaped head pad, the pre-shaped cheek pads with noise insulation and the chin pad are fully removable and washable.<\/span><\/span> Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual helmet customisation.<\/span><\/span> With a liner that can be inserted on top of the head, you can adjust the fit of the helmet vertically.<\/span><\/span> The stylish pads with a voluminous underside that reaches up to the nape of the neck, together with the removable ear pads, effectively contribute to sound insulation.<\/span><\/span> The standard CNS-3C visor prevents the ingress of draughts and rainwater with its distinctive top edge angled towards the helmet shell.<\/span><\/span> It can be reliably opened and closed with a centrally positioned locking mechanism.<\/span><\/span> For extra fresh air while driving, the visor mechanism allows the visor to be opened wide.<\/span><\/span> The visor can be changed without tools thanks to the proven, self-adjusting quick-change mechanism.<\/span><\/span> The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 SHOEI NEOTEC3 sun visor is infinitely extendable and almost completely covers the usable field of vision, even downwards.<\/span><\/span> It can be easily replaced without tools with the optional yellow visor with contrast-enhancing effect.<\/span><\/span> This additional visor provides optimum visibility for many purposes and weather conditions.<\/span><\/span> The recesses in the ear area, the ready-made cable guides and the positions for mounting the device parts allow a quick and easy installation of the SRL3 communication system from SENA\u00ae, available in the SHOEI accessory series.<\/span><\/span> VIEW<\/span><\/span> Ventilation openings directed directly into the airflow capture fresh air to reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI NEOTEC3.<\/span><\/span> A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering.<\/span><\/span> Raised ventilation controls allow operation even with thick gloves, allowing the helmet to be used in low temperature areas or during the cold season.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

AERODYNAMICS<\/p>\n

Smooth surfaces and passages reduce the helmet’s wind resistance and the wearer’s exposure to noise, but allow the integrated spoilers on the side and rear of the helmet to be seen, thus enhancing the sporty character of the SHOEI NEOTEC3. A stable mechanism ensures an eccentric rotational movement of the chin piece when opening and closing, and allows for the smallest gap between the chin piece and the shell of the helmet. The transition area between the chinbar and the helmet shell is designed to be smooth to reduce turbulence in the ear area and associated noise. <\/p>\n

APPENDICES<\/p>\n

SHOEI NEOTEC3 visors are available in different colours and mirrors, which can be used in accordance with ECE approval guidelines.The helmet is fitted with the CNS-3C visor as standard. PINLOCK\u00aeEVO anti-rust lenses can be fitted to all available visors of this type, one of which is supplied with the helmet.
\nThe integrated, heavily tinted visor type QSV-2 can be exchanged for a yellow tinted version with contrast-enhancing effect from the SHOEI range of accessories.
\nThe SHOEI range of accessories also includes cheek pads with or without noise isolator, head pads in different sizes and thicknesses, and an insertable top of head pad. They can be used to replace the original padding or to adjust the fit of the helmet to individual needs.
\nA chin strap, breath guard and faux leather chin curtain are also available.
\nThe SENA\u00ae SRL3 Mesh communication system from the SHOEI Accessories series can be used in the SHOEI COMLINK NEOTEC3 interface. When paired with a mobile phone, navigation device or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh offers the possibility of information and entertainment while riding and fits almost invisibly into the NEOTEC3 helmet shell. The SRL3 Mesh delivers rich sound and crystal clear voice transmission with its premium speakers, high quality microphone and harman\/kardon\u00ae sound system. <\/p>\n

SCOPE OF SUPPLY
\nThe SHOEI NEOTEC3 is supplied with a PINLOCK\u00aeEVO lens for use in the standard CNS-3C visor, the appropriate replacement pins and a small maintenance tool to assist with the installation of the SRL communication system.
\nAlso included are a breathing shield, chin curtain (already fitted), SHOEI logo stickers, the original SHOEI helmet bag for careful storage of the helmet, and silicone oil for the care of the visor seal and mechanics.
\nThe helmet manual and the brochure “Proper use of your helmet” contain valuable information on the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI NEOTEC3.<\/p>\n
