Er ist f\u00fcr den MX-, Enduro- und Offroad-Einsatz optimiert und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber eine ganze Reihe von Technologien und Innovationen, die aus Alpinestars Helmen f\u00fcr Erwachsene \u00fcbernommen wurden, um die optimale Mischung aus Leistung, Schutz und Komfort zu bieten. <\/p>\n<ul class=\"group\/features\">\n<li><span class=\"metafield-multi_line_text_field\">This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell incorporating a special polymer blend enhanced by varying degrees of thickness that is engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and light weight.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Lightweight outer shell is constructed from a technologically advanced impact resistant thermoplastic in three sizes (Youth Small, Youth Medium and Youth Large. The SM3 Youth weighs 1060g (ECE) and 1170g (DOT). <\/li>\n<li>Separate versions of the shells for DOT and ECE requirements; the DOT certified version of the helmet&#8217;s inner shell is constructed with a composite fibre assembled between the outer shell and the EPS liner for maximum protection against impacts.<\/li>\n<li>The fit can be tailored to the rider&#8217;s head thanks to the helmet&#8217;s crown and cheek pads, which are available as spare parts in different thicknesses.<\/li>\n<li>Youth Medium (YM) and Youth Large (YL) sizes share the same EPS size, which allows riders with an YM size to initially buy an YM helmet and then configure it to a Youth Large size as they grow via the crown and cheek pad spare parts.<\/li>\n<li>The Youth Small (YS) has a smaller EPS size and can be customized only via the cheek pads.
