Exceptional comfort and flexibility: the Nucleon PLASMA back protector is made of a USDA-certified, bio-based viscoelastic material. Designed for multi-directional flexibility, the back protector conforms to the body to effectively dissipate impact energy and provide reliable protection. This protector is lightweight and highly breathable, offering strong dispersion and absorption of impact force while providing maximum coverage in all riding positions.
\nLightweight and highly breathable chest protector: The outer shell of the chest protector is based on geodesic polyhedra and, like a geodesic dome, requires less material to achieve the desired structural strength and load capacity compared to flat or unpaved surfaces. The result is a protection where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, making the new A-4 PLASMA chest protector extremely light and breathable.
\nSuperior comfort: the over-injected, flexible side skirts of the chest protector mould perfectly to the shape of the body, providing superior comfort and freedom of movement.
\nOptional racing kit: designed to be compatible with the Nucleon PLASMA Extended Roost Coverage kit, which includes upper and lower chest extensions and an optional Y-Strap system, allowing riders to use the A-4 chest protector without the back protector.
\nRib and shoulder protection: the A-4 PLASMA chest protector has highly perforated, adjustable and removable rib and shoulder padding for extra protection against impact and collision.
